ABOUT
ABOUT
I am the Principal, CXO and CMO of Knapp Capital Management (KCM) and an experiential expert in both concept and execution with 25 years of experience in brand development, marketing, partnerships and experiential strategy. I have proudly contributed to the success of some of the largest developments in New York City, including Hudson Yards and the World Trade Center.
Starting in the fashion industry, I was the brand director for Project Runway’s Tim Gunn, developing multi-platform long-term strategies that changed the way women experienced fashion. My role included serving as stylist and co-host for all special events, appearing on the runway alongside Mr. Gunn, while also collaborating with CAA, Bravo, Lifetime, ABC and Simon & Schuster to assure alignment across all projects.
Next, I led all experiences and culture-focused programming for the retail sector of the World Trade Center. I developed pre-opening, grand opening and post-opening brand strategies, including creating custom events, experiences and marketing plans for 100+ retailers in the $4B Oculus. I produced the first event to ever be held in the Oculus in partnership with CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, one of the most treasured events in my career.
I then led all events, activations, experiences, photo and film activity as well as culture-focused programming across the 12M square foot, $20B phase 1 of Hudson Yards, including Vessel, Public Square and Gardens and The Shops + Restaurants.
As Head of Events and Partnerships at the third-largest hotel owner-operator in the U.S., I oversaw experiences and partnerships at independent hotels including the TWA Hotel and The High Line Hotel.
Today, at KCM, I bring this expertise to the forefront of large-scale real estate investment and development, shaping strategies that fuse placemaking, culture and innovation into transformative destinations.
